ok, so the person you are sending the message to has to text “ON” to 212. then, use O2 #2 and put a 44 in front of the number and take off the preceding 0 from the number. Replies are currently not working, we are still researching for a reason for that.
GOOD LUCK.

I need somebody that has a valid O2 number, Orange number, Vodafone number, and Virgin Mobile number AND is willing to be patient and help me to help all your brethren in the UK. Everytime i get contacted by somebody from the United Kingdom I start asking questions and all of a sudden stop getting responses. I know the app is only $1 and if it doesn’t work you didn’t lose that much, but IT’S A BIG DEAL TO ME. I don’t like getting negative reviews and I want EVERYBODY to be happy with our app. If your interested and can help me out, please email us at hfidevelopmentsupport@gmail.com
Thanks,
Matt

Hey all, if your looking to get your app to stop crashing until the update comes out, here is the trick.
1. Manually type in the phone number for the contact you want to text.
2. Click off the Phone Number field into the message field(DON’T click the Done button in the Phone Number field)
3. Send your text, this will fix the bug and from now on you can just choose the contact from your address book like normal.
Sorry, it slipped through the cracks of our QA staff.
Thanks,
Matt

This will fix the smart telecom issue with the wrong address(see below)(Thanks Sue!). It will also fix a bug where the app will sometimes crash when choosing a contact you had already texted with the app(Thanks Judy!). And it adds an easier to use keyboard for inputting the phone numbers.
Look for it 2 weeks from today(Sept 4?), that’s the average turn time for Apple right now.
Thanks,
Matt

Hey all,
it appears that Smart Telecom has switched their gateway on us. There is an update already posted to the App Store, we are just waiting for Apple to approve it.
Here is a temporary work around in the mean time!
In your settings, make sure “use iphone/ipod email” is ON.
When the email window comes up, change the address from: mysmart.mymobile.ph to: mysmart.com.ph and voila! it works!
thanks to Sue for pointing this out and providing the fix!!!!!!
thanks,
matt

A new version of Free SMS has been submitted to the app store. It normally takes 4-5 days to get it approved by Apple. So expect an update on Saturday/Sunday! This new version will allow you to use the email account you already have setup on your iPhone or iPod. This will allow users who use Yahoo to use the application without having to pay for a Yahoo Plus account. It will basically create a mail message and pop it up in your mail program, you click send and off it goes!!!
Thanks to all our loyal customers, we hope you enjoy the update!
